It has finally come to an end. Personally, this module has been one of the most rewarding modules for me this semester. I was able to create something that was deeply close to my heart, as well for my mum, and the end product was something that I was genuinely satisfied with. It is such a rare case scenario for me to be truly proud of what I create because there are always imperfections that you're never happy with and the possibilities you know that you can do better. To have what I have right now would not be possible if it weren't for Mr. Vinod. Initially, I was beaten up by the fact that I had to redo all of my visuals, it was challenging to let go of the old style and to transition to a new one. But I'm glad I did and I now know the reason why. I also felt bad for the few weeks that we made Mr. Vinod disappointed. I knew that he would be more disappointed in himself, rather than us, concerned for how he has been teaching, instead of us being the ones that were forgetful and less sensitive. Nevertheless, he still continues to nag and secretly pushes us to become better. Of course, it is tiring to keep repeating the same thing over and over again for years, but he never stopped, and I'm grateful for each of them. I did learn a lot throughout this module. It was my first time designing a book and I never thought that it would be this detailed. I learned to be consistent with my layout, at the same time, not making it monotonous but to introduce as much variations as possible, to create a seamlessly enjoyable experience for the reader. Not to mention, this module has also benefited me in other modules, as we were required to design books as well. Nevertheless, even though this module was taken fully online and having more issues with stress and the emptiness of being at home, I still managed to enjoy most of it.
This module has helped me in my In design skills, the ability to design collages (Mr. Vinod calls me an expert at it which is so not the case). But I definitely became better at it, still having an immense amount of space to improve. I am well aware of my weaknesses and I do hope that through more practice and reading (I need to make more effort on this), will hone my design skills. Through this module, I also have become more sensitive and intentional towards text and ensuring they look good (or else Mr. Vinod will come out and nag xD) Jokes aside, this module has taught me about shifting my perspectives and to not fear the uncertainty, but to trust the process. Thank you Mr. Vinod, 3 semesters with you was memorable!

REFLECTION
EXPERIENCE
OBSERVATION
Having this project also opened my eye to observing my other classmates and their work. This module in particular made me feel very interested in my friends work. I was interested to read what they wrote and how they translated that content into visuals. Everyone's book is so different from each other. Most of them wrote really personal stories which I have mad respect for, their book design also reflected their personality and art style which was also really enlightening. Besides, having the print book designed was cool, amazing. But having the Ebook was a whole nother level. It really brings the story to life, which gave me pure satisfaction and joy seeing it. Overall, I feel happy. Happy for my friends too for creating something good and meaningful out of this.
